We would come here to stay every weekend if we could! The place is so quiet and charming, and every little detail (from interior to key chain) is made with so much love. The house stands on a hillside with a lovely view, surrounded by forest. In autumn it turns all golden. There is a terrace (and a hammock!) outside to enjoy a cup of tea or even breakfast on warm days. The breakfast is delicious, and on cold evenings you can have a good wine in front of the fireplace in the sitting room. The hosts are a lovely couple who take care of the guests as of family or friends. We did promise to come back!

I recently stayed at SerraVale for three nights and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel was impeccably clean, the hospitality was exceptional, and the breakfast was amazing. Located in the heart of Manteigas, it offered convenience and easy access to everything. The owner, Elsa, one of the best hostesses in Portugal, made my stay truly memorable and welcoming. Highly recommend SerraVale for a wonderful experience in Manteigas and in Serra da Estrela.
